The Magic Word Garden

The Magic Word Garden winds a path of hedgerows through an overgrown world and sends you foraging for flowers, ingredients, and a way through to the heart of the garden. Roll a die, find your start, and build a trail of connected words through blooms and hidden chambers until the door opens and the Giant Mushroom waits.

That's the Word Dungeon formula at its core: place letters, spell words, find your way through a hand-drawn world. Each word connects to the last, building a path until you reach the final garden and close the loop. The Magic Word Garden just makes you stop and smell the flowers first.

The flowers aren't decoration. Each one locks a letter out of play until you collect it. Step onto a bloom with a word and that letter is yours. Gather all eight and the door to the inner garden opens.

You're also foraging. Pick your ingredients at the start, then work through them one by one, spelling each out across your placed words before moving on to the next. Get them all done before you face what's waiting in the final garden.

Both threads must come together to win. Your words need to form a closed loop around the Giant Mushroom in its lair. Close the ring, confuse the beast, escape with your haul.

The Magic Word Garden comes with five map variants, including a blank multi-language edition so you can play in any language you like.
